BAPRAS
The Healing Foundation, in partnership with the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), wishes to offer awards up to £1200 each, to enable undergraduate medical students to undertake a 6-8 week supervised research project relevant to "disfigurement and visible loss of function", in the area of plastic and reconstructive surgery.

BBA
The Healing Foundation, in partnership with the British Burn Association (BBA), wish to support Student Elective Awards in the area of research activities relevant to "burns, disfigurement and visible loss of function". The purpose of the award (up to £1200 each) is to give medical undergraduates and postgraduate nursing, therapy or paramedical students the opportunity to broaden their perception and experience of research in the area of burn related medicine and care and to improve treatments for patients.

The Healing Foundation, in partnership with the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) wishes to offer awards up to £1200 each, to enable undergraduate medical students to undertake a 6-8 week supervised research project relevant to "disfigurement and visible loss of function" in the area of hand surgery.

CFSGB&I
The Healing Foundation, in partnership with the Craniofacial Society of Great Britain and Ireland (CFSGB&I), wish to support Student Elective Awards in the area of research activities relevant to "disfigurement and visible loss of function". The purpose of the award (up to £1200 each) is to give undergraduate students the opportunity to broaden their perception and experience of research in the area of cleft care, craniofacial surgery, medicine and care and to improve treatments for patients.
